The initial visit was clear and precise.  The work was completed on schedule.  The crew were very polite and listened to my questions and desires for the tree.  I am extremely pleased as the crew's ability to get the job done so well with the owner not present.  Will be recommending to my friends and will use again when needed.

They showed up with 4 pieces of heavy equipment: two that put a worker 60' in the air in order to trim trees. One piece of equipment picked up the treelibs and the fourth piece of equipment was at he huge dumpster, there were about 6 men working at all times. My trees had not had this kind of work performed on them in 15 years. They took all the trees off my roof and back to the trunk of the trees. They also sculpted the trees so they look good. They were there from 7:45 am until about 2 pm. The huge dumpster was filled twice. It was cool to see these professionals work. I definitely recommend them. They are not cheap AND they are worth it.

Excellent. The crew is amazing. They are professional and do an excellent job. Highly recommend The dead Pine was gone in minutes and then they planted a very nice tree in its place. Clean up perfect.

Fantastic !!!!! Michael Kriewaldt came out and we discussed options for the two dying pine trees. I decided to remove them and replace with a crepe myrtle. His crew came out, quickly took down the trees. ground out the stumps and planted the new tree. They put up a cage for protection from the deer. They removed all trash and did a great clean up. All for $300. Next spring I will contact him again for any tree service Highly recommend.

Krewaldt's bid for the work was the lowest of three bids I received. Kriewaldt performed at or beyond my expectations! The workers arrived early with the necessary equipment & tools to do the work and completed the job in less than six hours. I was impressed with their attention to good safety practices...wore hard hats, safety harnesses, etc. They cleaned up the yard thoroughly...exceeding my expectations.

They are over the board in rendering service to us. They did a good job.

We decided to finally replace our old previously flooded out fence.  In our backyard, we had this large willow tree that the trunk was opening up and the tree was now leaning towards our neighbors house.  We decided to have it removed prior to the new fence installed.  Called Kreiwaldt to come out and give us a free quote.       We had previously used them after the flood of 2002 on the Guadalupe River for debris removal in our driveway.  Our house with the debris was pictured on the front page of the San Antonio Express News that week.  We had mounds of large trees without any branches that had washed down.  We tried to removed it with a tractor for two days.  They came in and cleared it all within hours.  They had the right equipment for the job.  Which is why I called them for service again.

Mr. Kreiwaldt, his team and a herd of trucks showed up on time to do the job.  They had to detach  some of the fence out of their way to remove the tree parts out of the yard.  When they were done, they attached fence back together so my dogs could not get out.  The team slowly cut down the large willow tree, and they were very careful not to let any damage occur to my neighbors house, or my boathouse.  They even ground down the stump.  Next to the large willow tree was a small 6 foot pecan tree that had started growing.  I asked if they could try and save it.  They did save it.  They also found baby raccoons in the tree and moved them to safety.

We are pleased with the quality of work and how quickly it was organized and performed.

He is extremely competitive on price. They guys came out and worked really fast. They also cleaned up really well and the whole yard was covered because of the size of the tree they were taking out. I have used them for more than 20 years.

This company showed up on time, did the job even sooner than they said they would, had the men climbing up in tall trees that were very hard to get to. The cedar elms they pruned and shaped look wonderful. I've used this company in the past and have always been more than satisfied. This time was no exception.

I am pleased with Kriewaldt. My tree looks very well taking care of. I could not ask for nicer people to do this job. They were very respectful to me. The only thing I really have a problem with is the pricing. They are the most expensive place in the world! I could not believe it when they come out to give my estimate. It almost threw me off my seat! After talking with friends and neighbors, I come to find out that all tree places charge that much. Several people had told me that they were the best around.

I think Kriewaldt Tree Care is a good company and they did a good job trimming my trees. I was very pleased with them and they cleaned up the yard so good, there wasn't even a twig left behind. They used leaf rakes to clean up all the loose twigs and branches. When I need firewood, they deliver it to me and stack it too.

They send the same technician for the most part, so he knows which trees have the worst infestation. We always receive a call before they next appointment, and the technician is prompt. The webworms are capable of decimating a tree in a very short period of time, if it is not dealt with on a regular basis. They have done an excellent job of keeping the worms from doing any significant damage.

The tree man returned my call quickly and came around to give an estimate for removing hackberry trees. His prices were very reasonable and he explained the dangers of the big tree that was hanging over the garage. The tree removal was scheduled as soon as a day was available and the tree crew showed up on time. They worked very hard removing the eleven trees and taking out the huge tree and did a great job. They were professional, knew what they were doing and were quite experienced. They hauled all the mess away and cleaned up very well. They were polite and friendly and left the yard in tiptop shape.

I have to hire them on several occasions because I cannot afford to have all the trees done at once. They are very expensive, but I think they all are honest. They do a really good job and always clean up the mess. The trees look wonderful. The people are very nice and always on time. I schedule my appointments in advance. They have never once rescheduled on me. I have one tree left to have cut, and they re the lucky ones to do it.

His prices were very reasonable and he explained the importance of trimming the trees to stimulate the growth and greenery and to lift the heaviness off the branches. The tree job was scheduled as soon as a day was set and the three tree men were right on time. They started in different directions and did a great job trimming all the trees. They loaded up the limbs and other loose debris and left the yard in immaculate condition.

Mike returned my call right away and came by to give an estimate for cutting down a tree. His prices were fairly reasonable and he explained the dangers of the big tree hanging over the electrical wires. The tree removal was scheduled as soon as a day was agreed on, and Mike's tree men showed up on time. They unloaded their equipment and other tools and got to work on the tree. One guy went up the tree and cut off big branches, while the other guy stayed on the ground and used the chipper to grind them up and cut branches from the ground. They did an excellent job and cleaned up all the mess. They were polite, friendly and cheerful and left the yard in immaculate condition.

We have used Kriewaldt for years for anything large we could not do ourselves. He is prompt, always making the appointment on time. His truck is never parked on the lawn avoiding any large ruts. After the job is finished the area is cleaned up. He is very personable, and is willing to do extra work, many times not charging us, if it is minor. He also does not over prune like many of the tree service companies we have hired in the past have done.
